Burn Foundation
On Thursday 19 November 2010, a new charity was born – The Peter Hughes Burn Foundation. A not-for-profit charity that exists to meet the needs of burn survivors and their families across Australia in times of trauma. The launch was a success with co-patrons, Peter Overton (Chief Newsreader at Channel 9, 60 Minutes presenter) and Professor Fiona Wood (AM) both having inspirational pieces to say in launching the Foundation.
Peter Hughes (Founder), Grazi Lisciotto (CEO) and Ambassador Carol Mayer were just some that represented the Foundation in front of a large audience.
COMVERJ designed and launched the new website – www.peterhughesburnfoundation.org.au – on 18 November, prior to the launch, and have taken an active involvement in assisting the charity wherever possible. We are extremely pleased as a team to be involved in such a positive charity that is making a difference.
