Why you should be using Chrome

Everyone has a preferred web browser, with the majority using a default browser along with the default search engine.

The battle of the browsers started in 1994 with Netscape which managed to survive until 2008… somehow. Followed by Opera and a very well know Internet Explorer, it wasn't until 2002/2003 new browsers entered the market with new features stealing some of the ever growing market, Firefox and Safari. Late 2008 brought Google Chrome into the market, since this introduction the market has been shifting constantly with browsers announcing new software and features.

Chrome Rules the Global Mobile and Desktop Browser Market

If you haven't guessed by now that Chrome is the leader in the market, then your probably not using it. For so many reasons Chrome has taken over.

  • Chrome has the fastest response to security threats with 15 days between security updates.
  • Fastest browser on the market
  • Cross platform compatibility - mobile / tablet and desktop - Android and Mac
  • Multi-factor authentication
  • Apps and extensions - great for developers
  • Integration with entire Google suite
  • Increased mobility

Internet explorer has almost become a thing of the past, the announcement of versions 7,8,9 and 10 no longer being supported, for all web developers and designs this could not come soon enough, constantly trying to find ways to make the new technology work on these old browsers. Internet explorer was the bench mark of web browsers once upon a time and we do owe alot of where we are today to this browser. Bye bye Internet Explorer…

If you haven't already changed over to Chrome maybe it should be on your mind? Think about all the extra's your missing out on…
